Triplex Overhead Insulated Cable Low Voltage Overhead Power Lines
The ideal cable for installing or maintaining above cables is the triplex cable. They are frequently observed in your area for a single-phase power connection. As the name implies, triplex cable is made up of three separate cables that are each held in place by a sheath. Two insulated conductors and one uninsulated cable, which is regarded as the neutral cable that enables them to operate, are tightly twisted around one another. The circuit voltage is 240 volts when a circuit is connected between the insulated conductors.The circuit voltage will be 120 volts if a circuit is connected between the neutral and any of the insulated conductors.
